david's talk on tuesday taught me a lot! i know anyone who was there (( including david )) is probably like i didnt get that vibe from her. but as impatient as i get with david and his questions, he still teaches me alot! i usually dont realize how much God was speaking to me until im driving home. anyway, on tuesday david challenged us to live "in the world but not of the world". this is something that i have known for my whole life. God usually does that. He will teach me something that i already know, but just make it more real for me. so, as i was driving home it really sunk in that this world DOESNT MATTER. nothing. nothing at all. not the car im driving in, not the show i am speeding home to see. all that matters is people. they are the most important thing to God, so they should be the most imporant thing to me. it is amazing how your day changed when you go on with that purose: love people. you start to see what really matters. i could talk on what i have been learning since tuesday for a long time, but i think i would be late for school. all in all, im learning not to love the things of this world...but love people, and strive everyday for my reward in heaven. :-)
