The Day

so about today...it was good. i went to school. that was just school. i dislike trig more and more each day. it seriousaly is like taking a class in another language...but ms. davis is pretty cool and im hanging in there :) then i came home and looked at the computer for about 2 hours or something. i dont exactly know what i did. its werid how that happens, isnt it? i also played taxi. natalie likes to tell me she is going to be one place, and then she isnt there. i just love it to death. haha. then my dad made some yummy dinner. it was pancakes and bacon. he's great. then i made an apperance at 222. im sure everyone was stoked. lol. me and meg played bball. i did good. haha. now, i am babysitting and i am totally bored out of my mind. i watched american idol. i dont really like the girls. if anyone watches the show, please let me know what you thought of tonight's performances. oh...and another good thing about today - i had 2 dr. pepper's. yayy for that! :-)
now, i am going to talk about something that i have been studying//learning about lately. okay, so my dad talked about rewards on the retreat and i have been thinking alot about that. it's really hard for me to live for my reward, without thinking that i am trying to "please" God. i dont get how i can do "good stuff" for rewards, but not in the back of my head be thinking, yayy this makes God happy. but then, i think well, there is nothing wrong with wanting to make God happy ((thats worship)) but then i find that i am kinda patting myself on the back. like when i do something good, i am like good job amanda. ahhh i bother myself. but its a learning time for me right now. i am so thankful that my God has patience when i clearly do not.
so i am going to stop rambling now and go watch amazing race! :-)

Don't allow the enemy to convince you that your motives dont please God. We should delight in the happiness (worship) of our God. Keep making him smile
